Jonathan’s work as composer, orchestrator and conductor can be heard on award-winning orchestral soundtracks for TV, film and video games with sales of over 60 million. His industry-leading projects include numerous collaborations with Nimrod Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment creating award-winning soundtracks at London’s famous Abbey Road Studios. Most notable of these include orchestrating and conducting the only live recording of Emmy award-winner Sean Callery’s ‘Main Title’ for SKY’s hit drama 24 , and conducting Joris de Man’s Novello award-winning score for Killzone 2.
Jonathan composed the soundtracks for such high-profile video games as Getaway 2: Black Monday (Sony), Act of War: Direct Action (Atari) and Heavenly Sword (pre-production music and E3 Trailers for Sony), as well orchestrating and conducting numerous others such as Heavenly Sword (composed by Nitin Sawhney), Loons and Gangs of London (Sony), Driv3r, Driver 4: Parallel Lines and Far Cry 2 (Atari), and Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus (Ubisoft). Most recently Jonathan composed the choral music for the soundtrack of Horizon Zero Dawn, which won the Jerry Goldsmith Award for a video game score in 2017.
TV and film credits include work on Oscar-winner Gabriel Yared’s original score for Troy, Andes to Amazon for the BBC and How we invented the world and Deadly Islands for Discovery. Other collaborations on new music include those the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales (BBC Proms) and English National Ballet.
