Save the Arctic: a new suite for Greenpeace
Throughout August, supporters of Greenpeace UK performed a brand new piece of music – Requiem for Arctic Ice – to highlight the threat to the Arctic environment and the growing movement that is fighting to protect it. However, these performances were slightly different. Rather than arrive with a banner, the musicians arrived at the office doors of the Shell oil company, bow to the staff in the building, and then take their seats to begin playing.
